{"id":8,"date":"2008-09-15T10:33:27","date_gmt":"2008-09-15T09:33:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stg-blogs.bmj.com\/medical-ethics\/?p=8"},"modified":"2008-09-15T11:46:53","modified_gmt":"2008-09-15T10:46:53","slug":"well-hello-there","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stg-blogs.bmj.com\/medical-ethics\/2008\/09\/15\/well-hello-there\/","title":{"rendered":"Well, hello there&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Having taken on board the idea that the fashionable people are always late to parties, I made it my mission to be the last person to post an entry here.<\/p>\n<p>S<span style=\"font-size: small;font-family: Times New Roman\">\u00f8<\/span>ren&#8217;s instructions for blogging on this site were minimal: David and I can write what we see fit, as long as it&#8217;s not libellous.\u00a0 I have no doubt that we&#8217;ll be exploiting that liberty fully.\u00a0 However, one thing that occurs to me is that we&#8217;d probably benefit from being tipped off by readers about things that you think interesting.\u00a0 For example, I&#8217;ll be keeping an eye on the news and a couple of other blogs and things like that, but I&#8217;m not omniscient (although I have the arrogance of someone who thinks he is &#8211; for which I apologise in advance); the chances are that I&#8217;ll miss stuff.\u00a0 Thus, as soon as I figure out how, I&#8217;ll be making my email address available.\u00a0 If you&#8217;ve anything that you think the blog ought to cover or mention, then do let me know.<\/p>\n<p>Without further ado, I&#8217;m off to press some buttons.\u00a0 I&#8217;ll have learned how this thing works by about April 2013, if all goes well.<\/p>\n<p>*shuffles off mumbling about technology*<\/p>\n<p>*breaks internet*<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>EDIT: Contact details now added.\u00a0 This interweb thingy&#8217;s not so hard after all, is it?<!--TrendMD v2.4.8--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Having taken on board the idea that the fashionable people are always late to parties, I made it my mission to be the last person to post an entry here.
