{"id":73,"date":"2009-02-07T23:10:11","date_gmt":"2009-02-07T22:10:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stg-blogs.bmj.com\/medical-ethics\/?p=73"},"modified":"2009-02-08T10:33:39","modified_gmt":"2009-02-08T09:33:39","slug":"homeopathy-healing-the-world-in-very-very-very-small-doses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stg-blogs.bmj.com\/medical-ethics\/2009\/02\/07\/homeopathy-healing-the-world-in-very-very-very-small-doses\/","title":{"rendered":"Homeopathy: Healing the World (in very very very small doses)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/scienceblogs.com\/pharyngula\/2009\/02\/rename_it_to_quackery_without.php\">PZ Meyers has picked up a strange story<\/a>: apparently, there&#8217;s an organisation called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hom-og.de\/index.php?id=233&amp;L=1\">Homeopaths Without Borders<\/a> &#8211; clearly picking up on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.doctorswithoutborders.org\/\">MSF&#8217;s name<\/a> &#8211; that intends to send crack teams of homeopaths to disaster areas. \u00a0Their site&#8217;s mainly in German at the moment &#8211; they promise updates &#8211; but here&#8217;s a taste of what they have to say about themselves so far:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>It is our main aim to transfer homeopathy to those countries, [<em>sic<\/em>] where public health care and medical supply of [<em>sic<\/em>]the people is sub-standard, for whatever reasons.
