Never fear: <a href=\"http:\/\/librivox.org\/newcatalog\/search.php?title=&amp;author=&amp;status=complete&amp;action=Search\">Librivox has loads of free audiobooks<\/a>.\u00a0 The search is not the most efficient I&#8217;ve seen, but there&#8217;s definitely some Kant and some Mill (and some HP Lovecraft) on there, so it&#8217;s hard to complain.\u00a0 (Though I&#8217;m kind of in agreement with <a href=\"http:\/\/leiterreports.typepad.com\/blog\/2009\/11\/philosophy-audiobooks.html\">Brian Leiter when he comments<\/a> that &#8220;Of course, cruising down the highway listening to someone reading the First Critique could be a safety hazard&#8230;&#8221;\u00a0 On the other hand, any crashes would be mere phenomena, so perhaps nothing much to worry about after all.)<\/p>\n<p>Another source of freebies is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jamesrachels.org\/\">James Rachels site<\/a>, where you can download some of his work.<\/p>\n<p>If anyone else comes across freebies of interest, do email me and I&#8217;ll publicise them here.<!--TrendMD v2.4.8--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Philosophy books are expensive.
