Tristram Engelhardt is giving a lecture entitled “Moral Pluralism\u00a0and the Crisis of<\/a>\u00a0Secular Bioethics:\u00a0Why Orthodox<\/a>\u00a0Christian<\/a>\u00a0Bioethics\u00a0has the\u00a0Solution<\/a>” at the Institute for Orthodox Christian Studies<\/a> at Wesley House in Cambridge on the 3rd June. \u00a0It’s a provoking title – and my guess is that I’d probably disagree with just about every word after “Good evening”. \u00a0Notwithstanding this – in fact, because of it – I’d like to go, just because I’m fascinated to know how the claim in the talk’s title could be made to have even a chance of working. \u00a0But I can’t make it.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

So: I have a request. \u00a0Is there a reader who is<\/em>\u00a0going who’d be willing to give me an account of the talk that I could post on the blog? \u00a0In fact, let’s go one better: Tristram – if you happen to be reading this – could you send me a copy of your lecture? \u00a0My email address’s in my profile.<\/p>\n
