They can described almost any quantity &#8211; the mean, odds ratios, test sensitivity &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Mostly we see 95% CI; this sort of corresponds to our desire for <a href=\"https:\/\/stg-blogs.bmj.com\/adc\/2013\/06\/26\/statsminiblog-significance-tests-step-one\/\">p-values<\/a> of &lt;0.05.
